I had got the turkey leg with the seafood dressing and shrimp and i was so disappointed! I was super stoked to try it and the dressing was very burnt and salty. I immediately tasted how burnt it was it was like she gave me the burnt bottom of the pan. Honestly that was just not a good business decision to put out food that isn’t near perfect. That was the most expensive menu item they had for $32 and shouldn’t have been served in that state. The shrimp, turkey leg and the sauce was great though the actual dressing was just terrible. My bf got the turkey leg with red beans and rice and it was aesthetically pleasing and did have a good taste but they just needed to have out more sauce because under the first layer was just all white rice no sauce. Overall i think i might come back but just for the turkey leg by itself. We also got the large gumbo and it had a very fishy taste. Mind you i know gumbo is typically made with a seafood stock but the taste was more fishier than I’ve had else where.
Keisha and Inez were great. I was offered the menu and it was very welcoming. If I had any questions she answered them. The food was delicious. The service was phenomenal. I will definitely come back. This was the best fish I had. It was seasoned well.
This was my first time coming and the experience was great. The best place for your Cajun cooking needs. Food is great and customer service also. Inez was a great help with recommending items off the menu. We ordered The catch which is the best turkey leg I’ve had and the fish, shrimp, and gumbo and perfect. Highly recommended
This was me and my husband’s first time eating here after seeing it on social media. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very welcoming. They cook your order right then but the wait wasn’t bad. I also witnessed several pickup orders as an added bonus. We got mac and cheese, fish and shrimp, the turkey leg stuffed with the mac and cheese, koolaide ( which was banging), red beans and rice, and peach cobbler. Everything was delicious. The red beans and rice was kinda spicy and I can’t do spice but my husband ate it. Check them out!
Very friendly lady up front. I got the Big Cheazzy and it was worth every penny. The turkey leg was so tender that the meat just fell off the bone. Very flavorful. The mac and cheese was absolutely delicious. Portion size is big enough for you to share with someone else.
Really tasty and flavorful food. Everything is made to order and served hot. Unfortunately there is no where to dine inside but still worth trying if you enjoy fried fish.
Tessa was amazing! She gave excellent suggestions and was super patient and accommodating. Chef Keith did his thing on the food! The gumbo was super flavorful and the catfish & fries were well seasoned. 10/10! Will definitely come back!
This was my first time trying this place, and the catfish is really good. I also tried the fried wings, shrimp, macaroni (it was okay, but I probably wouldn't get it again), and peach cobbler, but the catfish was my favorite!! You get full sized pieces and not just those half pieces that most places try to sell you. The Granny's punch was good as well as the regular kool-aid and their tea. Keisha was very helpful and super nice!!
